Updated FAQ 2024

Hello and welcome to 2024! We always love the start of a New Year because it often means a fresh Golden Coil planner and endless possibilities of how to fill it with memories and day to day life! 

Today we want to touch on our most asked questions of 2023 so that we can better help you navigate your planning experience with Golden Coil this year! They are always happy to help with whatever questions or concerns that you may have!

Lets get into it!

1. I can’t seem to check out - it won’t let me move on to the billing page. How do I proceed?

Make sure to double-check that your full name is in the first box and that your email is in the second box at checkout! We often find that customers will put their last name in the email field. Doing this will prevent you from moving forward.

2. I ordered my planner 3-4 days ago, when will it ship?

At this time we are using FedEx 2-day shipping, but production of your planner generally will take 6-7 business days. We recommend planning on about 2 weeks from the time of ordering to receiving your Golden Coil!

3. Can I rearrange my +pages?

You can utilize our advanced settings feature (a tutorial can be found HERE) to rearrange your +pages, however you cannot fold them throughout your planner such as some at the beginning of your week and some at the end of the week. 

4. When will your next sale be?

We hold two sales each year. One on Mother’s Day and one during Black Friday. We generally offer 15% off during this time.

5. I ordered an e gift card and haven’t received it yet, when will I?

All of our gift card emails are sent out daily at 8am EST. If you wanted the gift card to be delivered on the day you ordered it, it would have to be before 8am EST. Otherwise it will be sent out the following day (or the day you chose for delivery).

6. Can I log into your website and order the exact same thing I did last year, but with updated dates?

At this time, our website does not allow for customers to create profiles in a way that you would be able to reorder the same exact planner as the year prior with updated dates. You will need to customize your planner from scratch each year! This can be fun, because each year we add additional layouts and +pages to our site that may end up being the perfect fit you!

7. I am having a hard time uploading my events, can you help?

All calendar files must be submitted in .ics format to properly upload to our website! If you'd like your events uploaded, you will need to create a calendar on a system such as Google Calendars or Apple Calendars that enables you to export an .ics file! The tutorials below offer a helpful step-by-step of how to export and upload your file!

Also, be sure to double check that your events are reoccurring, the years are correct, and that you have them selected as “floating” events if time zones are giving you problems.

8. What steps should I take if there was an error within my planner or notebook?

Always reach out to our customer service team with any concerns you may have with your planner or notebook! They will respond within 24-48 hours and help you amend any issues you may experience! We strive to create a product that is high quality and something you will want to display for years to come!

9. Is it possible for me to exceed your 242 page count limit if I am willing to spend the extra money for the additional pages?

We are unable to print/bind planners that exceed our 242 page limit, as this is the total amount of pages that will fit on the largest coil that we offer. A planner that has 242 pages is approximately 1.5 inches thick - I'm sure you can imagine a planner with any more pages would be very sizable! Unfortunately, the only way to increase the number of pages in our planners and notebooks would be for us to lessen our paper quality, which is something that we are unwilling to do. You can always adjust the length of your planner in order to accommodate any additional +pages you want to include in your book.

10. Do you offer additional customization outside of what is available on your website?

At this time we do not offer additional customization outside of what we offer on our site at this time. However, if you take the time to explore our website to the fullest you will see that there are so many great options for customizing the perfect planner or notebook for you!
