Community News Round-Up

Golden Coil Customizable Planners news round up

It’s time for another Instagram community news round-up! Our goal at Golden Coil is to make your life easier and full of inspiration and we always look forward to sharing how the wonderful people in our community are doing just that. Here are some of our favorite things happening:

  1. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with homeschooling or remote learning, our friends at @pipandjpapery have some beautiful resources in their back to school line up. Their flash cards and workbooks will help with letters, numbers, handwriting and other subjects. They also have some lovely posters to decorate and brighten your homeschooling room!

  2. @wanderandwonder.studio also has some beautiful resources for homeschooling, with activities that focus on diversity and inclusivity. Head to their Etsy shop to see their printable flash cards and activities!

  3. Previously, we’ve mentioned our friend @kmurrayphoto and her phenomenal flat lay styling course where, in 4 modules, she’ll teach you elements of lighting and design to elevate your visual storytelling. If you’re just getting started and want to give it a try before signing up for her course, she’s released a free flat lay styling tool kit to help you with composition, lighting, and troubleshooting. Head to her Instagram for the download!

  4. If you aren’t following @bravery_mag, do yourself a favor and check out their account! Bravery is a quarterly magazine for ages 5-12 that features strong female role models and they just released their issue on Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We love everything Bravery stands for and are grateful for such a well-curated resource for young girls and boys to learn about incredible women.

  5. We’ve been loving all of the cheerful and comfy designs from @mochi_kids! Based in LA, Mochi Kids specializes in small batch unisex designs, all made in the USA. If your kids need some soft pjs or a fun new t-shirt for the school year, head to their shop and try not to buy everything (save some for us!) ;)

  6. Last, but certainly not least: you may be aware that some of our printer staff have lost their homes to the wildfires in Oregon. A GoFundMe has been set up to assist these employees and their families. Please consider donating if you are able to help. We are so grateful!
