1 Layout 5 Ways: Vertical 3
Today we’re walking your through our newest weekly layout! Vertical 3 is a double-page layout designed specifically with teachers in mind: the vertical sections on the far left side give you a place to label different subjects and the boxes across the page allow plenty of space to outline lesson plans. But, as with everything Golden Coil, this page can be customized for use in so many ways! Here are a few ways you could use this layout:
FREELANCER
When you freelance, you’re always juggling projects from multiple clients, which is why the individual sections of this layout are so helpful! Use the vertical column to label different projects or clients and then use the corresponding boxes for specific to-do items each day. When you get to the weekend, you can divide the day into morning, afternoon, and evening.
HOMESCHOOLING
There are a lot of ways you can use this layout for homeschooling! You could use this the same way it was intended for teachers, using the left columns for subjects and the boxes for lesson outlines. Or, as shown below, you can use the left columns for kids’ names and use the boxes to outline their specific tasks each day. In this example, we split each kid’s day into a morning and afternoon block.
TEACHER
As mentioned, this layout was designed specifically for teachers! The left columns can be used for subjects and the corresponding boxes can be used for lesson outlines. Alternatively, if you have a small class, you could use the vertical boxes for kids’ names and the corresponding boxes for tailored tasks or to-dos.
PRIMARY CAREGIVER
If you have a lot of people to track and care for each day, this layout is for you! You can use the left column for individuals’ names and the boxes to write out their specific schedules and/or to-dos. Or, as shown in this example, you could use the first three boxes to block schedule the day and the rest of the boxes could be dedicated to specific individuals’ chores.
STUDENT
This layout is an excellent option for students! Similar to teachers, you could use the left columns for subjects and the corresponding boxes for to-do list items. Or, you could block schedule each day and then use the remaining boxes to divide your homework, to-do list, and household chores.
