Trisha's Favorite Berry Crumble
Hi guys! Trisha here. I wanted to share one of my favorite go-to dessert recipes that’s been getting me through quarantine! I love this recipe because I normally have all of these ingredients in my house and if I’m ever in the mood for something sweet, this is so easy to make! It’s one of those treats I make on any night, especially Sunday nights. I hope it’s easy and delicious for you!
TRISHA’S BERRY CRUMBLE
Serves: 4
1 cup oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup nuts (I prefer walnuts!)
4 T butter
3 cups frozen berries
4 tsp granulated sugar
Preheat oven to 350. For the crumble, place the oats, brown sugar, nuts and butter in a bowl. Mix ingredients—I like to use my hands! I usually wing it when it comes to the crumble, so feel free to change the ingredient amounts to taste. This should create a lovely crumble!
In each ramekin, place about 2/3 cup frozen berries with 1 tsp sugar sprinkled over top. Layer the crumble above the berries and bake 30-35 min. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream!
I love to make extra crumble and freeze it so that if I want more later, I can just pull out a single ramekin, some berries, some crumble and stick it in the oven and have a treat all for myself that took no time to make! I’m a huge fan of berries and crumble and I love how easy, simple and delicious this dessert is. Enjoy!
