Get the Most Out of Your 2021 Planner
Our Black Friday sale is just around the corner and if you’ll be ordering your 2021 planner, we want to help you get the most out of it! One of the best approaches we can recommend is to sit down with your previous planner and analyze how you’ve used it. Clearly, this year has thrown us all a curve ball, so you may have a lot of empty space in your planner. Or maybe you’ve found some great ways to adapt your current layout and +pages to your shifted lifestyle. Either way, 2021 may still have some uncertainty in store, so we want to share some ideas with you to help you get the most out of your planner. Consider the following questions:
1. How well has your current layout worked with the adaptations you’ve had to make this year? If you have a lot of empty space, is there a different layout that would better serve you? (If your schedule is more fluid, a single-page weekly layout may help you condense your weekly schedule with other helpful features, such as to-do lists and meal planning.)
2. Do you prefer your current layout but still have a lot of empty space? Are there ways you could fill the empty space with habits you already have? (Recording thoughts, journaling, writing daily gratitude, adding new recipes, art collaborations with your kids, etc.)
3. If you’re uncertain how your next year will look (same!), is there a layout that you can adapt well in either a slow or busy schedule? Or would it be best for you to break next year into two 6-month planners?
4. Are there pages you use a lot? Would it be helpful to add more of those to your new planner?
5. What do you use other notebooks/notepads for? Are there +pages you could add to your planner that would help you consolidate everything in one place?
Our goal is to always make life easier for you and to help you get things done. We hope this list of questions helps you build a planner that works even better for you!
