Am I a Daily or Weekly Planner?

Happy Thursday and welcome to today’s blog post! Today we are talking about daily and weekly planning layouts and the pros/cons of both! Figuring out what layout is going to be best for you can be one of the hardest (but also most fun!) part of creating your custom planner, so hopefully this post can help you through that process!

Lets start with a quick list of the pros that come with Daily planning!

  • Places for daily to-dos

  • Hourly/half hourly planning choices

  • Daily priorities and intentions

  • Block scheduling choices

Daily planning is for the die hard planner users. This is for those that love to plan their days out each night/morning and keep their planners by their sides at all hours of the day. It is for people that have lots of moving parts throughout their day that need to be scheduled out almost to the minute to ensure that everything runs smoothing and in an organized fashion.

Daily planning could also be great for a stay at home parent/spouse that likes to stay motivated and have clear plans and to-dos each day. (Remember, if you choose a daily planning layout with us, you will likely need to purchase 2 planners each year to be able to fit your daily planning needs into our 242 page count limit!*)

If you don’t have plans to write in your planner each and every day, you are probably not a daily planner user. You will have lots of unused pages and won’t be able to get the most out of your planner. This is where our Weekly Planning comes into play!

Weekly planning pros!

  • Block scheduling options

  • Space for weekly to-dos and meal plans

  • Plenty of space for notes and ideas

  • Daily water intake tracking and gratitude options

  • You won’t need to purchase more than one planner in a year

  • More wiggle room for add on pages due to the page count limits

Weekly planning is for those that like to be able to look at their whole week on one spread. It is for those that don’t need the minutes of their days planned out but a place to write down appointments, meetings, or playdates and have space for weekly to-do lists, weekly meal plans and a place to jot down notes for things they may need remember during a work call or errand run.

Honestly, here at Golden Coil we don’t think you can go wrong with any of our layouts or planning pages, but we hope this post helps you find what works best for you! We never want any of our customers to have unused pages or a layout that doesn’t best fit their needs! Let us know what your favorite layout is and if you are a daily/weekly planner and why below! We would love to hear how our Golden Coil users best utilize their planners for their needs!

Happy Planning!
