Gifts to Make This Holiday Season
It’s the holiday season and we are in full swing here getting your planner orders ready and shipped out. As we go through our own shopping lists, we’ve been inspired this season to make more gifts ourselves for our friends and family. We spent some time collecting our favorite ideas and gathered them in one post in case you’re in need of some homemade gift inspiration this season too!
Home & Host Gifts
Think about making gifts that will be practical or special. No need to spend time making something a friend or family member will keep tucked in a drawer.
Make a homemade wreath to bring to a friend or gift to a neighbor.
Make a batched cocktail or mocktail and pour into a pretty bottle and bring to a party.
Make some simmer pot gift packs you can gift to neighbors or the hosts of a party you attend.
If you like to draw and paint, create some homemade cards for a variety of occasions such as birthdays, thank yous, anniversaries. Bundle the homemade cards into a pretty box along with a book of stamps and gift to a friend who loves to send mail.
Use watercolors and drawing pens to create some gift tags. Package in a reusable tin and give to someone with a spool of special ribbon and a nice pair of scissors.
Use some vintage fabric or special paper to dress up a plain photo frame and include a favorite photo to gift to a friend.
Try your hand at rolling some beeswax candles. They are simple and easy to make. Gift with a pretty book of matches and some candle holders.
Make a batch of lavender or eucalyptus scented shower melts. Place the shower melts in a jar and gift them with a bathrobe to help a friend survive the winter months ahead.
