No Bake Chocolate Easter Nests

Easter is less than a week away and Spring is starting to bloom! It’s one of our favorite times of year at Golden Coil and today we want to bring you a fun recipe to share! One of the best things about this treat is it doesn’t require cooking in the oven, so if you are in charge of the ham or other delicious sides you don’t need to worry about oven space for dessert! Whether you are hosting an event in the upcoming weeks or in charge of bringing something to a family or friend’s event this recipe is sure to be a hit!

No Bake Chocolate Easter Nests:

-       2 cups sugar

-       ½ cup milk

-       ½ cup butter

-       3 TB cocoa powder

-       ½ tsp salt

-       1 tsp vanilla

-       3 cups oats

-       ½ TB peanut butter (optional)

Melt all ingredients except oats, on medium heat until boiling. Add oats. Scoop just under a ½ cup of cookie dough onto lined cookie sheet and let cool for 15 min. Carefully mold into small nests and let sit until fully cooled. Add whatever type of candy eggs you prefer! Our favorites are Cadbury mini eggs!
