Black History Calendar

Golden Coil Customizable Planner Juneteenth Black History Calendar

Earlier this month we talked about some actionable plans that we have as a company to combat racism and ensure equality within our company. Today, we want to share one of these ways with you. In honor of Juneteenth, we’ve created a yearly Black History calendar that can be uploaded directly to your customized planner. We hope this adds inspiration and representation to your planning experience!

We couldn't share this announcement without giving a special thanks to Elexis Bronson who helped us curate this inspiring calendar!

Have you uploaded your own calendars when customizing your planner? If not, this tutorial for uploading Google calendars is really helpful! (Click here for uploading Apple calendars.) The image below shows the part of the planner customization process where you’ll drag and drop the .ics file for the Black History calendar.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to character limits, the full title of some events will not be shown on the monthly view but the weekly view will show the full event titles. We felt these events were too important to cut down into short phrases!

The screenshots below show the difference in the monthly view and the weekly view.

If there’s something you’d like to add or delete from this calendar, you can do so by uploading it to your own calendar and making changes before re-exporting it.

In addition to this Black History calendar, we will be adding Juneteenth to our USA Holidays preset of events on our website. We hope that as we take time to remember and honor Juneteenth, as well as the many other important events in Black History, we will each be inspired to be a force for continued change and equality.
