2020 Design Contest

We are so excited to be holding another design contest! We are looking for an awesome design and we want YOU to be the one who designs it! The contest will begin February 3, 2020 at 8:00 AM MST and end February 22, 2020 at 11:59 PM MST.

TO ENTER:

1. Create your design

2. Post your design to Instagram in a new post

3. Tag @golden.coil in the caption and use the hashtag #GCxDESIGN20

4. Email your design to designcontest@goldencoil.com - please include your name and Instagram handle in the email

The top ten designs will be chosen by the Golden Coil team and go to a vote on our Instagram feed from February 26, 2020 to February 29, 2020 at 11:59 PM MST. The design with the most votes will be printed as one of our 2020-2021 covers - available for purchase July/Aug 2020. The winner will be announced on March 2, 2020.

WINNINGS:

  • $500 award

  • 5 planners or notebooks

RULES:

  • A maximum of ONE entry per person may be submitted

  • Submissions must be of YOUR work and in a new Instagram post - please do not tag old design posts

  • Designs must comply with design specifications

    • Golden Coil trademarks on front and back covers must remain in place

    • Original design must be at least 9 x 12 

    • No additional gold foiling on front or back covers

SUBMISSION SUGGESTIONS:

  • We have found that people respond to designs best when they are photoshopped onto one of our planners. We have provided some templates in our dropbox folder for you to use.

  • When creating your design, think of what kind of design you would want to be on the planner you purchase.
