How to Use: Lesson Planning

@raisingmaidens for Golden Coil Customizable Planners

One of our newest +pages is the perfect addition to your planner or notebook if you find yourself teaching a lot of lessons. Maybe you’re a teacher or a homeschooling parent, maybe you teach some community classes, or maybe you teach in your church congregation. However you teach, our new Lesson Planning +page is just what you need to show up with a well-prepared lesson. Here are some of the features of this page:

Golden Coil Customizable Planners Lesson Planning page

The top part of the Lesson Planning page gives you spaces to note the course, date, topic, duration, and objective of the lesson. This will help you identify your goals for the lesson and will serve as a guide to keep you focused while teaching.

The middle part of the page has plenty of space to write out your lesson plan in whatever format or amount of detail is helpful for you. In the example above, we listed bullet points for the main topics and activities in the lesson, but as you can see, there’s plenty of space to fill in more detail if needed.

The bottom part of the page has some of our favorite features. We love that there are sections to remind you what materials you’ll need for the lesson and a reference of what sources you’ll be using. We also appreciate having a space to remind ourselves what homework was assigned and to even note our students’ or our personal takeaways from the lesson.

We hope using the new Lesson Planning page enriches your teaching and serves as a useful reference for all of the hard work you do! How will you be using the Lesson Planning +page?
