Strategies for Being On Time

Strategies for Being On Time Golden Coil Customizable Planner

Was one of your resolutions for the New Year to “be on time”? You’re not alone! We chatted with some of our friends who are habitually prompt for some advice and what they had to share was GOLD:

“Always plan to be early. If you plan to be early, you’re usually, at the very least, on time. ;)”

- Sena Nelson

“PLAN AHEAD. Be disciplined and organized - write down what things you have to do for the day so you don’t push off anything til the last minute. I also will throw things that I need to bring places into my bag as I think of them rather than waiting until I’m about to head out the door to try to remember! Planning out outfits and meals the night before are also huge time savers that will keep you punctual.”

- Randie Megan

“Being on time is something that we really value in our family. I personally feel that commitment is so important and if you committed to being somewhere at a certain time, you need to make all effort to do so. Of course things happen, and sometimes you just have to be a bit late, but for the most part we try our best. Preparing the night before is KEY and also I try to always tell myself to be heading out the door 15 min before I "need" to be because it always takes longer than you think to get everyone in the car and run back in 3 times for things people forgot. I am also starting to use my older boys to help with things like getting their younger brothers shoes on, grabbing their own water bottles, hats, etc. They know what they’re responsible for and it’s really been helping to lighten my load.”

- Natalie Young
