Prepping for 2020: For Your Health

There are only 20 days left of 2020 and we want to help you get a jump start on the new year! Each day, we’ll be posting a fun challenge on Instagram and we’ll be breaking them into 5 categories here on the blog. If you want to get ready for each segment ahead of time, make sure to check back!

Here are our favorite ways to get ready for this next year, starting with your health:

1. Reflect – Take some time to meditate and reflect on your last year. What were the highlights? What lessons did you learn? How do you want to move forward with next year because of how you’ve changed this year? Write in your journal and set some goals.

2. Eliminate Noise – Unfollow social media accounts that don’t inspire you—you only have so much energy to spend each day on the things you love, so don’t let this noise use up any of that energy!

3. Cover Your Bases – Make sure that your health insurance is up to date. Check that you have all your cards and information easily accessible. Take the time to schedule any health-related appointments (therapist, doctor, dentist, etc.) you’ve been needing to make! 

4. Out With the Old – Clear your cabinets and drawers of old and expired items (medicine, first aid kits, beauty products, etc). Stock up on the things you actually use! :)

5. Always Be Learning – Is there something you want to learn this coming year? Business, art, dance, pottery, exercise? Schedule in some “me” time and sign yourself up for some enriching education.
