How to Use: The "Next Week" List
Does your layout include the “Next Week” feature? Or just a blank Monday-Sunday list like the Horizontal Half 4 layout pictured above? Either way, it’s a really helpful page feature and we wanted to include some ideas for how to use it here on the blog. We find that some customers love and choose a layout that includes a “Next Week” list, but aren’t entirely sure how to maximize it. The most helpful point is: be creative! You can use this list for its written purpose or you can make it your own. Let’s give you some ideas!
What are some things you could plan ahead? What would be helpful to have a birds-eye view on before the next week hits? You could fill your “Next Week” list with appointments, deadlines, project goals, meal plans, or people you want to touch base with. Having an idea of what’s coming up in the following week can really help you prioritize the tasks in your current week.
Make the list your own! If it says “Next Week” but you want to use it for the current week, simply cross out the title or cover it with a cute sticker.
If you have a blank Monday-Sunday list, you can use it for the current or following week. You could make it a gratitude list or a one-line-a-day journal. Some customers enjoy using it to plan their daily workouts, to list one room to clean per day, or to track daily spending. You could even use it for daily mindfulness practices, such as tracking your mood or writing down a daily affirmation.
