A Simple Approach To Gratitude Journaling

Gratitude journaling is something that has risen in popularity over the last few years and there are hundreds of layouts, books and prompts to choose from. Initially it can feel overwhelming with all the options and knowing what would be the best fit for you and your needs. Here at Golden Coil, we like to help simplify your day to day life and that includes giving you access to some amazing layouts and +pages in which you gather your thoughts on gratitude without needing anything extra.

Below are a few of our favorite layouts that are great for adding gratitude into your planning, but I want to start with one of our all time favorite ways to document gratitude. This is through our Month at a Glance page! There is a spot to write down one thing you are grateful for each day on one side, and on the other side there room for any journaling you may want to add to your gratitude practice. It is a great starting place when getting into  a new gratitude practice.

Here are a few of our favorite layouts that have a great space for adding gratitude into your weekly/daily planning sessions.

*The pictures listed are the following order for your reference: Horizontal 3 Weekly Double Page, Horizontal 2 Weekly Single Page, Horizontal Half 2 Weekly Single Page, Horizontal Half 4 Weekly Single Page, Sections 1 Weekly Single Page, Boxes 2 Weekly Single Page and Boxes 3 Weekly Single Page.

The most important thing to remember when starting your gratitude journey, is to know that it doesn’t have to be elaborate. Sometimes the beautiful aesthetics we see on social media surrounding gratitude journaling can make us feel like we need to be doing more, but like any other kind of journaling, it is completely unique to you and your needs at the time. At some point you may decide to do elaborate bullet journaling for your gratitude practice, but just know that being intentional and realizing all you have to be grateful for is enough.
