Hello, Friends! Today we’re coming at you with the 2023 favorites from Golden Coil employees! Covers. Layouts. +Pages. COVERS
Let’s start with covers. First off, there are SO. MANY. AMAZING. CHOICES. But here are the top 4 team picks:
Neutral Linen
NO surprises here. Neutral has been a long-time favorite of Golden Coil users. This cover is always in high demand, and for a good reason too. The color is a gorgeous, calming off-white that will look amazing in your home or office. Plus, the texture and durability of our linen covers just can’t be beat.
Lucrecia Caporale
Did you follow along with our design contest on Instagram last March?! Ohhh my, let’s just say the Golden Coil team was so thrilled to see this beauty make the cut. We have loved seeing stunning abstracts like this one make their way into our cover selections over the last couple of years. For a similar bright, watercolor option, be sure to check out Danica Corin.
Saddle Leather
This cover is OH-so-luxurious with its leather-like texture and warm, earthy, cognac brown. Definitely a classy choice that you won’t regret! Olive Leather is another very popular leather (one of Michelle’s favorites!) that you’ll definitely want to check out as well.
Mist Linen
Once again, a swoon-worthy linen cover. This lavender-like cover is soft, elegant, and surprisingly very durable. One employee shares, “Speaking as a mother who has taken a Mist cover through a full year on the kitchen counter with 3 young children, I can still vouch for this cover as a top choice, and would definitely recommend it to others”.
LAYOUTS
Moving on to layouts! Something interesting to note - there wasn’t a clear trend here. Employees’ favorites varied a lot, which really just goes to show how versatile (and awesome!) ALL of our layouts are. They truly can fit any lifestyle, and a favorite page can change from year to year, depending on what you’ve got on your plate! Here are 4 of the top picks:
Weekly Double Page - Horizontal 3
A simple, yet effective combination. Lines for daily appointments, and a succinct daily checklist. Horizontal 3 also includes space for habit tracking, gratitude, and a fillable Monday - Sunday list. A popular choice among employees AND customers!
Weekly Single Page - Boxes 2
We love the fact that you can work down your to-do list throughout the week with Boxes 2. The blank daily boxes on the right hand side also leave a little room for creativity, if you like to sketch, write in calligraphy, or use stickers while planning out your week!
Weekly Single Page - Horizontal Half 2
This weekly layout is wonderful if your schedule is heavily task-based! Lots of room for to-dos, a sticky note-sized box, and even a section to detail big events coming up next week.
Daily - Horizontal 1
Ooo, we love this one! It is so grounding to see everything you’ll need to think about for the day on ONE page. If you are health-conscious and enjoy daily planning, you’ll love this layout too. Fun fact: if you like daily planning, but not EVERY day, we have an undated version of this layout in the +Pages tab, so you can add just a few of them to your planner, either weekly, monthly or at the end of your planner!

Finally, wrapping up with +Pages. This one was really tough to narrow down to a top 4 because we all had SO many favorites. There is such huge variety of pages to choose from to enhance your design and fulfill all of your planning needs. Here are our absolute can’t-do-withouts.
Month At-A-Glance
We love to utilize this +Page for journaling! A simple line per day to capture special memories, things we are grateful for, or funny quotes from our kiddos. Less time-intensive than traditional journal-writing, and SO fun to read back on!
Reading
Several of us here on the Golden Coil team are avid readers and listeners. This +Page is a really great way to record and rate all the books, audiobooks, and podcasts we’ve listened to throughout the year. Never again will we forget a title or author when recommending a good read to a friend! It’s also the perfect place to write down and remember the books we’d like to read next!
Events
What’s the most exciting thing to plan?! A party, of course! We like to add one these layouts for each big event and birthday we are anticipating in the coming year. It’s definitely not one you’ll want to pass up if you host an event from time to time.
