Which Emojis Can I Use in My Planner?!
Today we dive into the wonderful world of emojis. 🙌🏼 Did you know that you can actually have them printed into your planner? 😍 If you want to add some next-level personalization to your Golden Coil, this is the post for you. If you’ve tried printing emojis before, you’ll know that some emojis read clearer than others, and some don’t generate at all, but when you find just the right emoji, they can be such a fun personal touch to add. We’ve done a little test for the Golden Coil Community to show you some of our favorite emojis that print well in our planners. We’ll also share some tips and tricks for how and where to add them during the customization process!
THE TIPS
#1 - How to Add Emojis
We know that most of you will be customizing your next planner on a laptop or desktop. Here’s how to get your emoji keyboard to pop up:
For Apple computers: CONTROL + COMMAND + SPACE
For Windows computers: WINDOWS LOGO KEY + . (period)
#2 - Where to Add Them
There are 3 places that you can add emojis in your Golden Coil planner: on your fill page, in your contacts, and in your personal events (via .ics upload, tutorial here). Below we show what this looks like during the customization process and what it will look like printed into your planner, which you can view in the “Review” tab before checkout.

THE TEST
Here are some additional emojis we tested with the great results:
And here is how they will look when printed in your planner:
Of course, there are many other emojis that will also work. So if you have a specific emoji in mind that isn’t shown above, be sure to test it out by adding the emoji as you customize your planner. Look to see if it translated clearly by scanning your planner preview in the “Review” tab at the end of the customization process. Know that planners will be printed exactly as shown in the preview, so be sure to double check all of your emojis if you choose to experiment!
