Person Behind the Planner: Maya Arguez

Here at Golden Coil, we have amazing customers who range from professionals, creatives, students, mothers, teachers, and beyond. We want to feature some of you and your organization journey with Golden Coil. First up is Maya Arguez, 25. Maya works as a manager for a health and fitness company while also running her own social media management company, Makai Management. Let’s get to know a little bit more about Maya.

How long have you been using Golden Coil? About 3 months.

How do you customize Golden Coil to fit your specific needs? Working a full time job and a side hustle, I can actually plan everything in one place and stay organized all in one place. My Golden Coil is my lifeline for making sure I’m organized in all departments. I have a daily layout and then add the customized meal prep option, finances, and project add-on.

How has Golden Coil helped you? Golden Coil has helped me in so many ways, number one being how much more organized I feel since starting to use it. I always had a hard time finding a planner that fit my wants, so I would get tired of them really quickly, but now I’m excited to see my to- do list and tackle it.

Do you have a favorite page or layout? If so, why is it your favorite? My favorite page is definitely my daily layout (Horizontal 2) because it allows me to see my schedule, prioritize my to do list, and not feel crammed for space while writing everything.

What other hobbies or things do you like to do in your free time? My main hobbies are working with my social media management clients, exercising and reading.

Any advice for people starting their organization journey or in the same situation as you? My advice would be to take your time figuring out what your organization needs are. What is causing you the most stress and what’s the best way to organize that so that it works for you? We are all different and solve problems differently so make sure your planner fits your specific needs. That’s why Golden Coil is so great because you can customize it to what works best in your own life.
